Mini Spring Wreath - Paper Rosette Tutorial

I had a few requests on how to make the rosettes out of paper.  I didn't have a lot of time to work on a big project, so we went with a mini wreath.  Started with a Ritz box...
Cut out a circle...
Picked out scrapbook paper...

Cut strips.  These can be any width, and don't worry about being perfect...
Paint both sides quickly with Mod Podge...
Wrap them around your wreath...
Until it is covered...
Grab another strip and quickly paint each side with Mod Podge...
Twist the paper and then begin rolling...
And keep rolling...
When you get to the end, put a dab of Mod Podge, then tuck the end under the bottom...
Set out on wax paper to dry...
Hot glue to your wreath and tie a ribbon.  I took a picture on the front door, but it's way too small for the door :O)...
I found a great spot for it in the 3 year olds room...
Goes with her tea set perfectly
I love how they kind of look like material...
And just to show how easy they are to make.  Here is the one my 10 year old made...
She found that she liked to leave each end out to look like leaves...
Happy rosette making!
